Activism at the community level is so important because it empowers every person who gets involved. Creating your own YP Group in your city of town is the perfect way to be an agent for positive change. Confronting blight is about fixing things that are broken, it’s about bringing people together in a healthy pursuit of repairing the places where we live and work. You can make a big difference where you live by joining with us, and we can work with you every step of the way.

What’s the next step?
The next step is to plan a get-together with any of your friends who might like to be involved, either in person or virtually, and then discuss the places that you think should be saved. It’s about beginning a conversation that should be taking place in your community and you take it one step at a time. Having some pizza on hand never hurts!
